Install the Hub

Install on a Mac or Windows PC and open Hub admin.

  1. Download the Hub from the Download page — Apple Silicon or Intel Mac, or Windows.
  2. Mac: open the .dmg and drag getstoqd Hub to Applications. Windows: run the installer. If you see “Windows protected your PC”, click More info → Run anyway.
  3. Open getstoqd Hub. It lives in the menu bar (Mac) or system tray (Windows) and opens Hub admin.
  4. In Hub admin, give the hub your business name under Hub settings.
  5. Click Buy license when you’re ready ($129 once). Until then the hub is read-only.

The menu-bar / tray icon has Open Hub admin, Open scanner on this PC, Backups… and Start when this computer starts — leave that on so the hub is always there for your devices.

Keep the hub PC switched on and on the same Wi-Fi or network as your devices — they sync whenever they can reach it.
