Terms of Service

Last updated October 19, 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and Automated Tek, LLC, doing business as getstoqd (“we”, “us”) for using getstoqd: the website at getstoqd.com, the getstoqd hub software, the getstoqd scanner apps and getstoqd Cloud (together, the “Service”). By installing, buying or using the Service, you agree to these terms. If you’re using it for a business, you agree on behalf of that business.

1. Your license

1a. getstoqd Cloud subscriptions

2. Activation, moving and check-ins

3. Purchases and payment

Prices are shown before you pay. Payments are processed by Stripe, which acts as merchant of record for your purchase and calculates and collects any applicable sales tax or VAT. Stripe’s terms also apply to the payment itself. Purchases made inside the iPhone, iPad or Android apps, when offered, are processed by Apple or Google under their terms, including their refund processes.

4. Refunds

Hub licenses: if getstoqd isn’t right for you, email support@getstoqd.com within 30 days of purchase for a full refund. When a purchase is refunded or charged back, the license is deactivated. Cloud: you can ask for a refund of your first subscription payment within 30 days; after that, payments for the current period aren’t refunded when you cancel, except where the law requires. In-app purchases (Standalone Pro) are refunded by Apple or Google under their policies.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Order emails. You’re responsible for the orders you send and the addresses you send them to, and for making sure you’re allowed to email them. Orders sent with Send with getstoqd come from orders@getstoqd.com with your email as the reply-to address; daily limits apply, and we may pause sending from an account that misuses it. If you send from your own email account, its provider’s terms also apply. We don’t guarantee delivery — confirm important orders with your supplier.

6. Your data

Your inventory data belongs to you. With the hub or standalone mode it’s stored on your own PC and devices, not on our servers. You’re responsible for keeping it backed up — the hub makes automatic daily backups on the PC, Standalone Pro backs up on the device, and you can export to Excel at any time. Because we never receive that data, we can’t recover it if it’s lost. (An order you email with Send with getstoqd passes through us only to be delivered; we don’t keep a copy.)

With getstoqd Cloud we store your business’s data for you. You give us permission to store, copy and process it only as needed to provide the Service to you. Cloud keeps backup snapshots you can restore, but you should still export important data regularly. You can export or delete it at any time. See our Privacy Policy for what we collect and how long we keep it.

7. Your account and team

You sign in with a one-time code or link sent to your email. Keep access to that email secure — anyone who can read it can sign in as you. Tell us promptly at support@getstoqd.com if you think someone else has accessed it.

In getstoqdCloud, the account owner decides who is on the team and what role they have, and is responsible for what team members do in the business’s account. Removing someone ends their access right away. You can delete your own sign-in at any time in the app (Settings → Delete my account) or in getstoqd.com/app → Settings (⚙) → Account & device; if you’re a business’s only owner, that also deletes the business and its Cloud data and cancels its subscription.

8. Third-party products

getstoqd works with barcode scanners, spreadsheets and supplier ordering portals made by other companies. We aren’t affiliated with them, and their products and terms are their responsibility.

9. Support and changes to the Service

We provide support by email at support@getstoqd.com. We may update, improve or change the Service over time, and will try to give notice of changes that significantly affect licensed features.

10. Disclaimer

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Inventory counts, par levels and order lists depend on how the Service is used — you are responsible for checking them before making business decisions, such as placing orders.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Automated Tek, LLC won’t be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or inventory. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us for it in the 12 months before the claim. Some places don’t allow these limits, so they may not fully apply to you.

12. Ending this agreement

You can stop using the Service at any time, cancel a Cloud subscription, or delete your account. We may suspend or end your license or Cloud account if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms. Sections 5–6 and 10–13 continue to apply after this agreement ends.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, USA, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in North Carolina, unless the law where you live requires otherwise.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We’ll change the date above, and email license holders and Cloud account owners about significant changes. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept them.
